What health system factors have implications for care experiences among Latine patients with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS)?In this qualitative study of 24 Latine patients with HS, 3 themes were developed: (1) unaddressed wound care and pain management burdens patients with self-directed care; (2) perceived discrimination during dermatology visits leads to avoidance of care; and (3) patient-centered care remains a challenge with phone or video interpreter-mediated communication.Findings of this study suggest that interventions to prioritize wound care and pain management and optimize patient-centered HS care for the Latine population are needed.
