Designing cardiovascular outcomes trials in CHIP will require moving beyond a 1-size-fits-all approach toward genotype-informed, mechanism-driven trial frameworks. Leveraging innovative trial designs, integrating CHIP analyses into ongoing cardiovascular trials, and fostering interdisciplinary multicenter collaboration will accelerate translating CHIP biology into effective cardiovascular therapies. Establishing an evidence base for managing CHIP-associated cardiovascular risk represents a critical and timely priority for precision cardiovascular medicine.
