Census Block Group Demographics, Mobility Patterns, and Pharmacy Visits

In this cross-sectional study, mobile devices from CBGs with fewer pharmacies were more likely to visit pharmacies in CBGs with racially and/or ethnically diverse populations. As pharmacy closures and deserts continue to occur disproportionately in communities with predominantly Black and Latinx populations, measuring correlations with health and developing policy solutions that enable access to medicines and other health care resources are important.
