What is the frequency and role of disordered eating in hidradenitis suppurativa?In this systematic review of 7 studies including 2363 individuals with hidradenitis suppurativa, the frequency of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors were found to be 3.7% and 27.8%, respectively.Disordered eating behaviors and eating disorders are prevalent comorbidities in patients with hidradenitis suppurativa; they should be considered in comprehensive management to mitigate adverse effects on patient outcomes and quality of life.
